This ambitious project, involving 43 European companies, aims to encourage the use of carbon capture and storage solutions to curb CO₂ emissions by glassmakers. The study aims to clarify what the best carbon capture technology solutions and the most cost-effective transport and storage opportunities are for each glassmaker in Europe, thus creating a map of CO₂ routes across Europe.
