Decarbonization frontiers highlighted at 97th Glass - Technology Conference in Aachen

The 97th Glass-Technology Conference, organized by the Deutsche Glastechnische Gesellschaft (DGG), took place in Aachen from May 27th to 29th, 2024. The event was a resounding success, bringing together leading scientists and technicians dedicated to advancing decarbonization in the glass industry.

Ernesto Cattaneo, Head of Innovation at Stara Glass S.p.A., utilized this prestigious platform to present the company’s significant projects focused on sustainability. The projects highlighted included LIFE SUGAR, Horizon H2GLASS and Horizon COREu. 

The conference offered a comprehensive view of the latest advancements and trends in glass technology, emphasizing the industry’s collective drive towards a more sustainable future.
