The PhD student will be supervised by Dr. Andrea Mola and will focus on the development of virtual prototyping methods for the calculation of the performance of glass furnaces.
This unique intersectorial path features training at the Scuola IMT Alti Studi Lucca, Tuscany, and at least 6 months internship by the partner company and 6 months visiting period abroad in the research center.
- Profiles of interest are candidates graduated primarily from engineering.
- The PhD student will acquire advanced skills on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and multi-physics simulations.
